I have eurospec engine out of uk mk4 supra in mk1 gs300 lexus, works fine, 100% stock.
I laso have MINEs ECU out of JDM mk4 supra, want to try it, but afraid that it can go wrong somehow.
Question is...will it work ?
No, I think it is not going to work as the Euro-Spec engine has different fuel and air manage control (also the pollution equipment (EGR)) and the engine wire harness is different to JDM-model. :-\
It might work, but the injectors are different where the JDM has 440cc high impedance and UK has 550cc low impedance injectors. So you would need at least to swap those over or you need to wire in the resistor pack, unless you have the UK wiring harness and already have it. With the JDM ECU, the engine will run rich with the bigger 550cc injectors.
I think it should work, but Im afraid that ecu can get harmed.
Once I tried using 550cc injectors without resistor on mk2 aristo, result, ecu failed.
Yes you will burn the injector drivers in the ECU if you run low impedance injectors without the resistor pack.
So.. if you want to run 550cc injectors, you need to wire in a resistor pack:
